Things you need to know when purchasing a frame online
from Frameology Optical.
Frameology Optical does not sell prescription lenses online. It’s difficult to manage prescriptions long distance, therefore, we have you order your Rx lenses through your doctors office, or any retail establishment, specializing in prescription eyewear. Confirm with your doctor that their office will accept outside frames.
Please be mindful when purchasing frames online as fit and size may be deceiving. We strongly encourage you to take advantage of our online/virtual eyeglass consultation. Please have a copy of your prescription and current glasses (or sunglasses) with you at the time of the consultation, this ensures the best size and fit of your new frames. Your older frames tell us a lot about you and your needs! If you choose not to take advantage of our online consultation, please ensure that you
have accurate measurements of your current frames. This includes the width of the lenses, the bridge, and the temple length(please see picture below). This will help ensure the best size and fit for you. Click HERE for more information.
